The Adventures of Renata Ruiz

My Backstory
I am tempted to leave some kind of record of my grand space adventures. In the face of painful execution, that’s what most criminal geniuses do. Not scheme to get out. Just leave a record. I know that I can’t escape my holding cell. I will be executed in two days and I know it is impossible to hatch a plan and escape in such a short time. If you find this, please visit Botafuegos Prison and give my father a good kick up the rear end from me and also please tell my mother I never meant to get her stuck in prison, only my father.
My name, Rebirth. Renata Ruiz translated is Rebirthed Powerful Leader. My name before death and self-resurrection was Victoria, Victory. The only reason why I even keep that name as my middle name is because of its meaning. Rather apt, my new name. Renata Victoria Ruiz. Rebirthed Powerful Leader of Victory.
I died in a car accident about twelve years ago in 1994 when I was fourteen. I’m still fourteen thanks to the idiot who was driving the car. But technically, I’m twenty-six although I don’t look that part. 2006 is definitely not my favorite century. Harder to run a criminal agency. I don’t care much though. I got a taste of criminal life before I died.
I ran away from home with half of the cash in the Ruiz Manor vault, disabled the security system and started stealing from shops and restaurants. Food, Money, Water, Clothes, whatever that was asking me to be stolen, I stole. I was running from cops when a drunken driver sped straight ahead. I went while I wasn’t supposed to, so I guess I can blame myself, but I’m too prideful for that.
My father ran a criminal agency of course, my father offered me a position the night before I commited my first crime, but I refused. I felt too superior to be a follower instead of a leader. Not only that, I wasn’t about to get ruled by a father that never interacted with me until then. So I ran after making it terrible for the old Ruiz Empire to continue. They were competition as long as I started wrecking havoc. So I disabled them. They’re all in prison now. Call it betrayal, I call it suitable measures.
Now, a question you might all be dying to ask. How did I resurrect myself? Simple, I lead a group of spirits and started my OWN criminal empire. We banged on the gates of hell and escaped. I am the criminal lord now. The new Ruiz empire. It used to be Emperor Ruiz, but now it’s Young Empress Ruiz. I am the ruler now.
I have constructed a secret lair. Now, you may notice villains have secret UNDERGROUND lairs, but I will not risk having my lair revealed by diggers. My lair is camouflaged high up in the sky, space, to be more accurate. Yes, it’s like a gigantic version of a rocket. I was the first to hatch the scheme of space technology. The ONLY one to. While doing this, I have discovered a race of space people. You may call them aliens, I do too. I learnt their secret language and communicated with them. All of these truly fascinating creatures have orange skin, hair and red eyes. They imitate humans except that they are larger than the average human.
The Alien Thief
The first creature I stole went by the name of Logan Kratz. I extracted some of his DNA. He died instantly. I studied some of the DNA and realized it was shaped differently from any DNA. First discovery.
The Second one that I captured stubbornly refused to reveal his name. My right-handed servant, Raymond Jackson, tortured him while I studied how he reacted to pain. He held on for fifteen hours until he finally died painfully.
The third one received the same torture. His name was Rick Roll. (I’m not kidding.) He held on for the same time. These creatures were resilient. Seemingly, all the creatures had the same resilience level when it came to withstanding pain. It was quite interesting to observe.
The fourth creature, Nalotant Lowlali was subjected to a blood test. I observed its blood. It didn't seem like type A or type B. Not even type O, in fact. I called this blood type C.
The fifth creature went by the name of Tourmaline Torture. I subjected it to the very same blood test. The new blood type again. C. Very strange, I noticed. Perhaps I should test another one’s blood to confirm my suppositions.
The sixth creature was the third to get its blood tested. C again. How very strange. My suspicions were confirmed. These odd creatures were very erratic. They could not be easily predicted, not even by me.
Caught
Two weeks after starting my investigation and three days after I encapsulated the sixth creature, I was caught by who I assumed to be the alien police. A creature that looked like the king marched forwards.
He, like all the other aliens, was a dark shade of dark orange and had red eyes. The king had an auburn crew cut and was obviously taller than any other creature. He had a rather ostentatious crown made of gold and had Tourmaline Encrustations.
“Victoria Ruiz, you are hereby imprisoned for the capture, torture and murder of six of the Kadayahaans,” he said in a domineering way. ‘Kadayahaans?’ I asked myself, ‘Oh, the creatures.’
“Not if I run!” I yelled. I made a run for it.
“Do not be foolish, Ruiz! You cannot run! If you stay you will only get imprisonment, if you continue to flee, you will get execution!” The king called.
“What, why aren’t you chasing me you dolt? Too scared perhaps? Going to hide behind a soldier maybe?” I taunted.
“Chase her!” The king cried. The chase was on.
I ran like the wind. The alien soldiers chased me nearly just as fast. They shot darts at me. I dodged every single one. I grabbed an oxygen tank, fastened it, and leapt off the aircraft. I zoomed through the universe like swimming, which I was actually rather good at. I had won fifteen swimming tournaments before I died. The soldiers leapt right after me. They were still rapidly firing their guns. Apparently, they could still shoot when there was zero gravity. But I was still faster. I paddled towards a swarm of incoming asteroids and hid. The aliens could no longer chase me. After ensuring that they were gone, I crept out from behind the asteroid I was hiding behind and made it back to the aircraft.
I piloted it as fast as I could, maneuvering it smoothly. The Light Chaser's last journey perhaps. I knew that sooner or later they would catch me. So I pulled out a notebook and scrawled down, The Adventures of Renata Ruiz. This notebook. Yes. This! The one that you’re holding right now in your hands and reading! I shoved it away and jerked the wheel left. What I didn’t realise was that the army was waiting for me.
Execution and Other Stuff I Don’t Wanna Talk About
The king smirked, “No one escapes,”
I jutted my chin up, “Doesn’t change your idiocy, your highness,”
“Silence! You will come quietly,” the king roared. And that was what I did. I was led into a small holding cell, yes. This holding cell I am in as I write. I took out the book and started writing. Yes! This book! How many times must you be told to acknowledge that fact in that tiny little mush of a brain! I wrote a story about myself. Yes, this story!
Well, my execution nears. Goodbye, Remember my last request that I wrote on the first page!
